Hi Everyone, Welcome to the New Year 2012,

We had a very successful Christmas Bar-B-Q and Raffle, Thankyou to the Generous Business Community of YEA in supplying the Raffle Prizes, assisting preparing salads and selling raffle tickets, also the Yea Community for buying tickets, and we also thank all of our NHW Volunteers who worked tirelessly selling raffle tickets, making salads and the work involved in catering for this event, and thanks also to our Glenburn Colleagues who helped with the cooking etc.therefore, as a successful result we gave out five scholarships to local students @ $200.00 each. The Scholarships were to assist them in their Education, and was administered by the Secondary School that they attended.

The lucky Students were, Hope Cater – Sacred Heart Primary to St Mary's Seymour.
Jazzmine Sherridan – Yea Primary, to Yea High School.
Jarrad Gilbert – Highlands Primary, to Yea High School.
Skyler Hunter – Flowerdale Primary, to Yea High School.
Dana Vlamas – Yea High School.
So a total of $1000.00 towards the education of our future leaders.

We have brought our AGM Meeting forward to allow for a warmer climate, so it will be on Tuesday 21st February 2012, 7.30 pm @ YEA RSL Hall. You may come an hour earlier with a BYO meal and have a Natter prior to meeting. Supper is Provided.
We want your input / expertise, so come along and join in, Remember, the scholarships will continue as long as we are successful, and for this to happen we need you to participate so as to help your children.

We will need your assistance on Sunday 18th March 2012 at our stall at the YEA AUTUMN FEST. A couple of hours each will be most helpful.

Don't forget Yea Country Market, First Saturday of the Month @ Yea Railway Park.
